How You Can Help

You can donate in several ways:

A new organization called One Dollar For Life is helping children in Nepal by building a school in collaboration with NYOF.

Read more about One Dollar For Life's project in Nepal.

Your help gives children the greatest gifts of all—a childhood free of fear and deprivation, a decent education, and the opportunity to realize their potential. NYOF's work depends entirely on its donors.

Every dollar you give will go far:

  • $75 can pay the annual school expenses of a child living in a village.
  • $100 rescues a little girl from bonded servitude and puts her in school for a year.  $350 saves a girl from servitude and supports her education through 10th grade, the Nepali equivalent of graduating from high school.
  • $340 covers the cost of restoring the health of a severely malnourished child and educating the mother in proper nutrition.
  • $750 puts a bright young adult in college for a year.
  • It is possible to sponsor a child in boarding school or at J and K Houses, or a young adult in college. Sponsors receive letters from the child, photographs, and update letters from NYOF staff. Please contact us for more details.

Charity NavigatorNYOF’s good governance has been recognized by Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator of charities, which has granted NYOF a four-star rating, the highest possible, for effective and efficient administration of the funds which you, our donors, contribute. Thank you again for putting your trust in us.
